Is it permissible to contract an urfi marriage online with a Muslim girl without meeting, and what are its conditions and صيغة (formula/form) if it is valid?

A valid marriage has conditions: the designation of the two spouses, the presence of the guardian, witnessing, and the absence of impediments for both spouses. These conditions are not met via the internet, especially witnessing. The Islamic Fiqh Academy has affirmed that marriage contracts are not covered by modern communication methods due to the requirement of witnessing in them.

Marriage has great purposes such as tranquility, affection, mercy, and protection from unlawful acts, and marriage via the internet does not achieve these purposes.
