What is the ruling regarding a wife remaining with a husband who insults and curses her, treats her poorly, threatens her with divorce, and refuses to give her her rights, while she fears divorce and insists on staying with him despite her poor psychological state?

If the husband is abusive towards his wife and unjust to her, then the wife has the right to seek divorce due to harm, which is legally permissible in cases such as abandonment, beating, and unjustified insults. A wife's patience with her husband's ill-treatment and her forfeiture of her rights is a righteous deed, but this is inconsistent with wishing for suicide; for suicide is one of the gravest sins. The wife should seek help from Allah and strive to reform her husband. If he does not change and she can no longer bear the patience, then divorce is permissible, while maintaining good faith in Allah; for Allah enriches each from His bounty after separation.
