Is it permissible to undergo a breast augmentation surgery due to atrophy resulting from childbirth and breastfeeding to avoid embarrassment with a husband who frequently looks at other women? And is it considered a sin not to undergo it? Does wearing two padded bras to make the breasts appear larger fall under the ruling of "one who claims to have been given what he has not been given is like one who wears two garments of falsehood"? Is prayer valid in this state? And is it permissible to go out like this in front of women?

Jurists permit cosmetic surgeries to remove or repair congenital or acquired defects, especially if they result in harm or aversion. Breast augmentation for those suffering from severe atrophy is analogized to the hadith of Arfaja ibn As'ad, who fashioned a nose of gold after his nose was severed. It is not analogized to the prohibition of teeth filing, which is intended to increase beauty without removing a defect. Therefore, breast augmentation in cases of severe atrophy is considered a necessary treatment, not a change to Allah's creation. The Permanent Committee has issued a fatwa permitting breast augmentation in cases of severe atrophy, provided it does not result in harm. There is no objection to wearing loose bras among women or performing prayer while wearing them, as adornment for a woman is permissible for her husband and among other women. However, if the breast size is normal, cosmetic surgery is prohibited, for beauty is the beauty of the soul and manners.
