The covenant is dissolved by breaking it, and the expiation is not repeated unless the person intends repetition, or if the wording of the صيغة (formula) necessitates it. The formulas "I covenant with Allah that I will always be mindful of Him" and "I covenant with Allah that I will be mindful of Him every day" do not necessitate repetition by their wording. If you doubt the intention of repetition, then what is doubted is as if it does not exist, and the original principle remains, which is the absence of the intention of repetition; because "everything doubtful is disregarded in Islamic law."
