What should a 30-year-old married woman, who has suffered since childhood from sexual and emotional inclinations towards beautiful women, and who is religious, educated, and from a well-known family, do to overcome this feeling?

One must divert thoughts and attention from obsessions, lest they lead to something worse. There is no sin in mere feelings and sensations, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, Allah has forgiven my nation for whatever thoughts they harbor, as long as they do not act upon them or speak of them."
