What is meant by the sorcery mentioned in the Hadith of Aisha and your statement, and the sorcery mentioned in the noble verses, given the apparent contradiction between them?

The aforementioned Hadith attributed to Aisha does not mean that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, slept throughout the entire pre-dawn (sahar) period or that he did not seek forgiveness during it. Rather, he would take a nap to rest after a long period of standing in prayer, so as to regain his energy. There is no contradiction between the two verses and his action, peace and blessings be upon him; for it is possible that he slept before the pre-dawn period and then woke up during it to seek forgiveness, as he was the most compliant of people with commands and the most eager to do good.
