It is permissible for a man to teach women if there is no fear of temptation (fitna) and if both parties adhere to the Islamic etiquettes, such as avoiding private seclusion (khalwa), intermingling, and ensuring the hijab is worn, and that there is no softness in speech. This is especially true if there is no female teacher available for them. However, if there is a fear of temptation or if there is no adherence to the Islamic etiquettes, then it is not permissible for him to teach them.
