What is the legitimate Islamic distribution of the inheritance of a deceased woman who left 5,000 pounds in cash and half of the marital home (valued at 8,000 pounds) to her husband, her 6-year-old daughter, her 11-year-old son, her 22-year-old son, and her 75-year-old mother?

If the wife's heirs are limited to those mentioned, then the husband receives one-fourth due to the presence of a lineal descendant, and her mother receives one-sixth due to the presence of a child. What remains after assigning the husband's and mother's shares is divided among her children, with the male receiving double the share of the female. The age of the heirs is not a consideration.

Inheritance matters must be referred to the Sharia courts for review and investigation, as there may be another heir, wills, debts, or other rights that take precedence over the rights of the heirs.
