Will the slaughtering of Death take place after the disobedient of the Ummah of Muhammad have exited the Fire? And will the perpetrators of major sins answer the questions of Munkar and Nakir and see their abode in Paradise or Hell?

The slaughter of Death will occur after the dwellers of Paradise have settled in Paradise and the dwellers of Hell have settled in Hell. It will not be slaughtered before the monotheists are brought out of Hellfire, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Death will be brought forth in the form of a black-and-white ram and slaughtered. Then it will be said: 'O dwellers of Paradise, everlasting life with no death! And O dwellers of Hellfire, everlasting life with no death!'"

As for the trial of the grave for those who committed major sins, a Muslim will answer the questions of the two angels even if he was a wicked person. The wicked Muslim will be punished for his sins from which he did not repent. This punishment may continue until the Day of Judgment or it may cease. Among those tormented in their graves are the arrogant, the proud, the hypocrites, and the helpers of oppressors. The Muslim will see his place in Paradise, even if he was a wicked person, because he is not a disbeliever and his ultimate destination is Paradise. However, this does not mean he will not be punished in the grave; Allah knows best what will be of that.
