Is money earned from working in a clothing dyeing factory unlawful (haram) if one resides in a non-Muslim country (Dar al-Kufr) by means of asylum obtained through a fabricated story?

The permissibility of money earned from dyeing clothes is based on the permissibility of the work itself. If the work is permissible, then the money earned from it is permissible. The method of entering and residing in the country is a separate issue and has no bearing on the permissibility of the salary, even though a person might be sinful because of it, such as through lying or deception. Residing in non-Muslim lands is not permissible except for one who is able to uphold the rituals of his religion and is safe from temptation, and it is better to reside among Muslims.
