The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not have a personal physician, despite biographers detailing many aspects of his life. However, it is authentically reported that he, peace and blessings be upon him, underwent cupping, and Abu Taybah performed it for him, whereupon he ordered a measure of dates to be given to him.
