Are deeds (seeking forgiveness, supplication, and prayer) accepted despite inattentiveness and lack of focus? And does animosity prevent the supplication from being answered and deeds from being raised on Laylat al-Qadr?

Remembrance (dhikr) has three levels. The highest is that which is by both the heart and the tongue. The lowest is that which is by the tongue only, and it is better than silence, even if it is done heedlessly. Achieving devotion (khushu') in prayer is by the worshipper recalling whom he is supplicating to, and by praying as one who is bidding farewell. Striving against oneself to attain devotion is rewarded, and the prayer is valid even if devotion is incomplete. As for shunning one's sister, it does not specifically affect the reward of observing Laylat al-Qadr, but it does generally affect prayer, and it prevents the forgiveness of sins. One must hasten to reconciliation by initiating the greeting of peace. Upon reconciliation, the sin of shunning and other minor sins are forgiven.
