The best way for you to protect yourself from a man with a diseased heart is to adhere to your hijab (definition) and your commitment [to Islamic dress and conduct]. Indeed, a man with a diseased heart only covets a woman if he finds her to be immodestly dressed or submissive in speech. Allah, the Exalted, says: (So do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech.)

We advise you to use this weapon in confronting him: cover your hands and feet when you need to enter his presence, exaggerate in your hijab and concealment, do not be lenient with him in speech, and do not speak to him except when necessary. And beware of entering his presence alone.
