What is the ruling on purchasing goods whose price is determined by rolling dice, and is this sale permissible?

Playing with dice (backgammon) is forbidden, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever plays with backgammon (Nardashir) is as if he dipped his hand in the flesh and blood of a pig." Selling a commodity at a price determined by dice before knowing the price is impermissible due to the ambiguity of the price, making it similar to the "pebble sale" which the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade. However, if the contract is not finalized until after the price is known and both parties agree to it, then the sale is valid, but determining the price using dice is not permissible. Whoever engages in such a sale must repent to Allah Almighty. If the sale is invalid, the buyer must return the commodity, and the seller must return the price. If the buyer has consumed the commodity, he must return its value, and the seller must return the price.
