Is it permissible to play an Islamic board game designed to teach Islam, the Quran, and Hadith, if it uses dice to move between questions, knowing that dice are usually associated with gambling?

Playing with dice (backgammon) is forbidden, whether for money (gambling) or not. This is the opinion of the majority of jurists, based on the general prophetic narration concerning it: "Whoever plays backgammon is as if he has dipped his hand in the flesh and blood of a pig." The reason for its prohibition is that it distracts and diverts from the remembrance of Allah, and it resembles divination arrows in relying on what comes out of it. It falls under gambling, which incites enmity and hatred and prevents from prayer. Thus, the prohibition is not merely for consuming wealth unlawfully, but for the inherent corruption it contains. The testimony of anyone who repeatedly plays it is not accepted.
