Is the government salary taken from bank funds and their interest considered unlawful money, given that the mufti in my country has permitted bank interest?

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There will come a time upon the people when no one will remain but he will consume Riba. If he does not consume it, he will be affected by its dust.” Narrated by al-Nasa’i, Abu Dawood, and Ahmad. This hadeeth indicates the widespread nature of Riba. There is no blame on one who works as an employee in government institutions so long as his work is permissible, for the salary he receives is halaal – In sha Allah – because the wage is in exchange for work he performs.
