Is it a condition for the passive party in sodomy to be of a certain age for his repentance to be valid, taking into account Ibn al-Qayyim's statement, "unless his evil in old age is worse than his evil in youth"?

Sodomy is one of the gravest sins and indecencies. Allah has opened the door of repentance for all sins, including sodomy. Repentance is accepted from a servant as long as they have not reached the gurgling throes of death or the sun has not risen from the west. And "the one who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin."

The words of Ibn al-Qayyim do not mean that the repentance of a sodomite requires a specific age limit. Rather, he means that one who becomes addicted to a sin in their youth rarely gives it up in their old age. However, if the afflicted person repents, turns back to Allah, is granted sincere repentance and righteous deeds, replaces their evil deeds with good ones, lowers their gaze, and guards their chastity, then they are forgiven and are among the people of Paradise.
