The wife remains under his marital bond and retains all her marital rights, such as maintenance, unless she is disobedient (nashiz), in which case her maintenance ceases until she returns, except if she is pregnant, then she is entitled to maintenance in all cases. If divorce is established, she has the rights of a divorced woman, such as the waiting period (iddah (definition)) and maintenance until the iddah expires.
