A woman who has been given a revocable divorce must remain in her husband's home and has the right to accommodation and maintenance during her (waiting period) because she is still considered his wife. It is forbidden for the husband to expel her from her home, and he also retains the right to take her back. However, if there is no marital home or if the spouses are estranged, the wife is not prevented from remaining in her own town and observing her iddah in a safe dwelling, and her maintenance remains obligatory upon the husband until the end of her iddah.
