Is it permissible to pray in a room that smells of cigarettes due to some colleagues smoking in it?

Prayer in a room that smells of smoke is disliked (makruh); due to the foul odor indicating the sin of smoking. Some scholars have explicitly stated the dislike of praying in places of sin. Despite the dislike, the prayer is valid and sufficient. It is preferable to pray in the mosque with the congregation if possible.
