Is the wife considered divorced if she refuses to accompany her husband to a specific event, especially after he said: "If you don't go with me to the next event for certain people, you will no longer be my wife," and he clarified that his intention was indeed divorce and not a threat, and the event has not yet occurred?

The marital bond is not dissolved merely by suspending a divorce upon a future condition, nor is the husband prevented from conjugating with his wife in this situation. Divorce does not occur by the wife's statement that she does not agree to go, but rather it occurs if the time of the occasion arrives and she does not go. It is advisable not to disobey the husband in what he desires, as long as it does not involve disobedience to Allah or significant harm.
