Is it permissible for a traveler in a state of ritual impurity (junub) to perform tayammum due to lack of time and its insufficiency for ghusl, despite the availability of water?

The man erred by neglecting Fajr and Dhuhr prayers. It was obligatory for him to perform ghusl (ritual bath). If he was unable to do so due to lack of time and fear of missing his companions, he should have performed tayammum (dry ablution) and prayed the salat within its prescribed time. If he was unable to pray at the time the bus stopped, he should have prayed inside it standing. If he was unable to stand, he should have prayed sitting, but he must not delay the prayer. It is permissible for a traveler, if he fears missing his companions by using water, to perform tayammum, as mentioned by many jurists.
