Was the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) sent to all creation, and not only to humans and jinn? And for how long will his general message to humans and jinn continue: until the appearance of the first major signs of the Hour, or until the Hour itself?

Muslims are in agreement that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was sent to humankind and jinn, but not to angels, because angels are not bound by religious obligations. Rather, he was sent to those who are bound by religious obligations among the two weighty beings (humankind and jinn). All creatures bear witness to the truthfulness of his message, except for the disbelievers among humankind and jinn. His message to humankind and jinn continues until the Hour, when faith will no longer be beneficial after the sun rises from the west.
