If the husband divorces his wife while in a state of extreme anger, such that he is unaware of what he is saying, then his words are null and void, and nothing is binding upon him. However, if he is aware of what he is saying, then the divorce is effective, even if he forgets it afterwards. And if the pronouncement he uttered implies divorce contingent on your driving a car, then do not proceed with this action. If you do proceed with it, intending to cause the husband to break his oath, then the divorce takes effect according to the majority of scholars.
