Is it obligatory to annul the marriage contract after discovering that the husband does not care about religion, lies, denies matters of Islamic law, and attacks religion, and is intervention necessary when he threatens my son?

If the husband abandons prayer, or accuses Mary (Maryam) of fornication, or denies polygamy, the wife must abstain from him, because these actions constitute apostasy that expels one from the fold of Islam. If he persists in that until the iddah (waiting period) expires, the marriage is legally annulled, and it is not permissible for a Muslim woman to be married to a disbeliever. He must be gotten rid of through official channels.

However, if the husband is a recent convert to Islam, he is not ruled a disbeliever until the proof is established against him and the misconception is refuted by scholars.

The marriage of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to Aisha when she was nine years old is established in the Two Sahihs (Bukhari and Muslim), and there is nothing strange about it, as it was common at that time and girls in the Arabian Peninsula reached puberty at this age.

As for lying, deception, and threats, the situation of the person should be considered. If there is hope for his reform through patience and wisdom, then strive with him. Otherwise, no good can be expected from his companionship.
