Is teaching the Arabic language to children for a wage considered among good deeds (hasanat)?

It is permissible to take a fee for teaching the Arabic language or the Holy Quran, and this does not contradict the attainment of reward if the work is done proficiently and the intention behind it is to benefit Muslims and connect them with the language of the Quran. The Permanent Committee has issued a fatwa permitting the taking of a fee for memorizing the Quran, emphasizing that this does not negate the attainment of reward from Allah if the intention is sincere.
