Is donating to build a house for the mosque's Imam equivalent to the reward of building a mosque?

Building a house for a poor and needy mosque imam is one of the great acts of worship for which the doer is rewarded, and their reward continues after their death. However, it does not equal the virtue of building a mosque itself, which the hadiths specifically mention as having the virtue of building a similar one in Paradise.
