What is the authenticity of the hadith about the daughter of Al-Jawn who sought refuge from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and what was the reason for her seeking refuge from him, and did the Messenger divorce her for this reason only?

The story is true and has been narrated in multiple hadiths. The narrations agree that the Prophet (peace be upon him) entered upon a woman, and she sought refuge from him. He said to her: "You have sought refuge with the Great One, join your family." There is disagreement about her name, but the most probable is Umaymah bint An-Nu'man ibn Sharahil.

As for the reason for her seeking refuge, there are three opinions: 1. She did not know the Prophet (peace be upon him). 2. Some of the Prophet's wives deceived her, making her believe that this phrase was beloved to him, so she said it to gain closeness, unaware that it would lead to separation. 3. The reason for her seeking refuge was her arrogance, as she came from the households of Arab kings and did not wish to marry someone who was not a king. She said: "Would a queen offer herself to commoners?"

These reasons demonstrate the noble character of the Prophet (peace be upon him), as he did not accept to marry someone who did not desire him, and he did not harm anyone.
