Did the Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, divorce one of his wives, and if so, what was the reason?

Al-Salihi mentioned in Subul al-Huda wa al-Rashad twenty-six women whom the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, contracted marriage with but did not consummate the marriage with them. Among them were: the daughter of Al-Jawn, Fatima bint Al-Dahhak, and Umaymah bint Sharahil. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, divorced Hafsa, may Allah be pleased with her, and then took her back.
