Are the first days of light bleeding considered menstruation, and is it obligatory to make up the prayers missed during them, and how are they to be made up, especially before performing Umrah?

If the total number of drops exceeds a day and a night, then it is menstruation. The preponderant opinion is that the purity (ṭuhr) interrupting menstruation is a valid purity, during which prayer and fasting are obligatory, and there is no need to make up (qaḍāʾ) any acts of worship performed therein. So, if you observed purity by one of its two signs during that period and you left off praying, then you must make up those prayers. However, if you did not observe purity, but the bleeding continued, then you are not required to make up the prayers you missed. An earlier onset of menstruation does not affect the ruling as long as it is separated from the previous menstruation by the minimum period of purity. The preponderant opinion is that all blood seen by a woman within the possible duration [of menstruation] is considered menstrual blood.
