Taking medications like " pills" that contain vitamins and nutrients to strengthen the body and alleviate hunger during fasting is permissible, as long as they are taken at night before dawn. This is no different from the meal, which strengthens the body for fasting, and its blessing and effect continue throughout the day. Indeed, partaking in suhoor brings blessing and reward, and it strengthens the fasting person for worship.
