Is it permissible to work as an art director in the field of advertising and publicity, involving the use of images and video clips that contain living beings, alter their form, feature women with uncovered hair and faces, and sometimes present inaccurate offers, and does the ruling regarding those who photograph and alter Allah's creation apply to this work, as well as His (the Almighty’s) saying: "Indeed, those who have persecuted the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hellfire and will have the punishment of burning"? And is it permissible to continue in this work until another job that pleases Allah is found?

Working in advertising is permissible under certain conditions, including truthfulness, avoiding deception and fraud, not promoting forbidden things, and ensuring the advertisement does not contain Shariah violations such as images of animate beings, especially women. It is forbidden to work in image manipulation that involves beautifying or altering creation, except for inanimate objects. If you personally engage in photographing animate beings, the preponderant opinion is that photographic imaging is forbidden, and the prohibition is even more emphatic when photographing unveiled women. It is not permissible to use forbidden images in work, even if they were photographed by someone else. If the images are only digital and not printed, the matter is less severe, provided they are free from Shariah prohibitions. The verse in which Allah states: (Indeed, those who have persecuted the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning fire) includes everyone who strives to tempt a believer away from their religion, or assists them in committing an abomination, or propagates it. Advertisements with images of unveiled women are a form of temptation. If you are unable to eliminate the abominations in your work, then it is obligatory to leave it and seek another job, and whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out and provide for him from where he does not expect.
