Do children reap the consequences of their father's injustice or the supplication of the wronged against him, and does their life become worse because of that, and how can they free themselves from that injustice if the father has passed away and the wronged person cannot be identified?

There is no authentic evidence that a child is punished for the disobedience or injustice of their father, based on the Almighty's saying: "And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another," and the Prophet's (PBUH) saying: "Verily, no one commits a crime but against himself. A father does not commit a crime against his child, nor does a child against his father."

The injustice and corruption of fathers may be a cause of tribulation for their children, as a test for them.

If the children are certain that their father wronged someone, and they are unable to identify the wronged party, then if the wrong was financial, they must take the amount of the wrong from his estate and give it as charity on behalf of the wronged party. However, if the wrong was non-financial, then nothing is required of them. They should pray for their father for forgiveness and pardon.
