Is it permissible to read the Quran from the Mushaf without a teacher for someone who has studied ten Hizbs and has knowledge of the Arabic language and the rules of recitation?

It is desirable to read frequently from the Mushaf for anyone who has learned a portion of the Qur'an by studying under a proficient Sheikh and is knowledgeable of the rules of recitation, enabling them to correct their own reading. This is based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever wishes for Allah and His Messenger to love him, let him read from the Mushaf." Nevertheless, it is preferable to learn the rest of the Qur'an from a proficient Sheikh, because learning Tajwid requires oral instruction to correct pronunciation. This is emphasized, and it is obligatory for one who is able, if they intend to memorize the Qur'an, to learn it completely orally from a proficient Sheikh. The obligation of reciting the Qur'an with Tajwid for those who are able, both inside and outside of prayer, has been previously clarified.
