Is it permissible to memorize the Quran by normal reading without listening to someone who is proficient in Tajweed, given the lack of proficiency in Tajweed and the unavailability of an opportunity to join a Quran memorization center?

We worship Allah through the Noble Qur’an by understanding its meanings and acting upon them, and by correcting its pronouncements and establishing its letters according to the manner received from the imams of recitation, connected to the Prophetic presence. This is achieved by receiving from shaykhs renowned for their precision and mastery, either by listening to them or by reciting to them while they listen. This is evidenced by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, presenting the Qur’an to Jibril, Allah’s command to His Prophet to receive from Jibril, and his command, peace and blessings be upon him, to take the Qur’an from four individuals. It is possible to substitute direct listening from a shaykh with listening to his recorded tapes or the teaching Mushaf, in which the shaykh recites and a group of reciters repeat after him.
