God created humans to test them. The servant must be content with God's decree and destiny. The questioner's impatience, lack of perseverance, and ill thoughts of God—by abandoning the pursuit of knowledge, deeming the answer to his supplication delayed, and concluding that God does not wish him well—do not align with his knowledge that he is being tested and tried. The solution begins with the questioner re-evaluating his own state, and moving away from the state of one who worships God "on the verge," and contemplating the words of Allah Almighty: "Do people think that they will be left alone because they say, 'We believe,' and will not be tested?"
