Does sharing a residence with an enchanted person harm one's self-protection?

It is advised to counsel a girl afflicted by jinn possession, and to instruct her to seek treatment and legitimate ruqya, while maintaining good companionship and gentleness with her. There is no harm in being near someone who is bewitched or afflicted by jinn possession, but it is recommended to fortify oneself with ruqya, dhikr (remembrance of Allah), and the prophetic incantations.
