How authentic are the hadiths that intimidate women from entering Paradise and tie their destiny to pleasing their husbands, and are spouses not equal in recompense before God, and why is the female gender alone cursed, even though men are not free from error?

Accepting what revelation has brought is a requirement of faith. The hadith (definition): "No woman harms her husband in this world" is authentic, and the occurrence of a problem does not necessarily mean the wife is harming her husband; the husband might be the one causing harm. The hadith aims to encourage the wife to treat her husband well, to avoid disobeying her Lord and entering Hellfire. Similarly, it is not permissible for the husband to harm his wife; if he does so, he is an oppressor.

Worries related to these matters should not prevent one from marrying, as marital life is not devoid of problems. The warnings in the Shari'ah texts for both spouses aim to achieve family stability, just as there are texts encouraging marriage.

It is possible for a righteous woman to stumble, and this does not contradict the hadith which refers to a woman who makes harming her husband a continuous habit. A Muslim's concern should be to enter Paradise, where there is eternal bliss. There is no benefit in thinking about matters such as having one's husband exclusively in Paradise; rather, it could be dangerous.
