Is zakat obligatory on half a gold lira and another gold lira, even though they are neither worn nor stored, and there is no current need for them?

There is no Zakat (definition) due on women's jewelry prepared for adornment according to the majority of jurists, and this includes both perpetual and seasonal use. Accordingly, there is no Zakat due on gold pounds prepared for adornment. However, paying their Zakat as a precaution and to avoid scholarly disagreement is more preferable and safer.
