Is a single woman who dies considered a martyr?

Martyrs are of three types: 1. Martyr of this world and the Hereafter: This is one who is killed in a war against disbelievers. Such a person is neither washed (ghusl) nor prayed over (Salat al-Janazah). 2. Martyr of the Hereafter only: This is one who dies due to certain diseases or accidents, such as one who dies from an abdominal illness, plague, drowning, or being crushed by a falling building. These individuals are washed and prayed over. 3. Martyr of this world only: This is one who is killed in a war against disbelievers but embezzles from the spoils of war (ghulul) or similar acts. Such a person is treated as a martyr in this world (i.e., not washed nor prayed over), but will not receive the full reward of martyrs in the Hereafter.

Among those for whom authentic narrations mention them as martyrs is: "A woman who dies with jum'." Scholars have interpreted the meaning of this in two ways: 1. It is a pregnant woman who dies with her child in her womb, or who dies during postpartum bleeding (nifas). 2. It is a virgin woman who died without ever having been touched by a man.

Allah’s bounty is vast, and it is hoped that she will receive the reward of martyrs if she dies under one of these two descriptions, provided she was seeking reward, patient, and obedient to Allah.
