The Sharia does not specify a particular surah to be recited when entering a certain place or enrolling children in it. However, the entire Qur'an is goodness and blessing. A supplication has been reported upon entering a village: "O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and what they overshadow, and Lord of the seven earths and what they carry, and Lord of the devils and what they mislead, and Lord of the winds and what they scatter, we ask You for the good of this village and the good of its people, and we seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of its people and the evil of what is in it." Narrated by An-Nasa'i and Al-Hakim. Furthermore, a supplication for fulfilling a need has been reported after two rak'ahs: "There is no god but Allah, the Forbearing, the Generous. Glory be to Allah, Lord of the Magnificent Throne. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I ask You for that which obligates Your mercy, and that which determines Your forgiveness, and the gain from every righteousness, and safety from every sin. Do not leave any sin for me but that You forgive it, nor any anxiety but that You relieve it, nor any need that is pleasing to You but that You fulfill it, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy."
