Is my repentance for swearing a false oath acceptable?

Swearing falsely by Allah is one of the greatest and most sinful prohibitions, especially if a person uses it to usurp the right of his Muslim brother. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The greatest sins are associating partners with Allah, disobeying parents, killing a soul, and the false oath (al-yamin al-ghamus)." And he also said: "Whoever swears an oath by which he seizes the property of a Muslim person, and he is a liar in that oath, will meet Allah while He is angry with him."

However, if a servant repents with sincere repentance, Allah will forgive him, as Allah Almighty says: "Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'"

The questioner should repent, be steadfast, and increase in good deeds, as Allah Almighty says: "Indeed, good deeds do away with evil deeds," and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "And follow up a bad deed with a good one that will erase it."
