Does God forgive swearing a false oath on the Quran, and what are the consequences of that?

If a servant repents sincerely from any sin, then repentance erases the sin and removes the transgression, as Allah Almighty says: "Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'" [Az-Zumar: 53], and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The one who repents from sin is like one who has no sin," narrated by Ibn Majah.

However, if the false oath (al-yamin al-ghamūs) involved taking someone else's right, then that right must be returned to its owner for the repentance to be valid and accepted.
