Is the narration that tells of Umar ibn Al-Khattab striking a woman whose husband was due to a misunderstanding between them authentic?

The narrators of the chain of transmission for this tradition were counted by Al-Dhahabi in "Siyar A'lam al-Nubala'" among the narrators of the Sahih. Ibn Hajar stated in "Al-Matalib al-'Aliyah": "Its chain of transmission is strong." It was also narrated by Ibn Abi 'Asim, Al-Bukhari in his "Tarikh," Samawayh, and Al-Hakim in "Al-Kuna."
