I saw a Hadith about the prayer of two disputing individuals not being accepted, and I argued with my brother before Fajr prayer. I wanted to apologize to him, but he was praying, so I prayed and didn't wait for him. After the prayer, I apologized to him, and he told me that our disagreement was minor and not a severe enmity as mentioned in the Hadith. I re-prayed as a precaution, and I am asking about the acceptance of both the first and second prayers.

There are three important matters concerning this topic:

1. There is a difference between the validity (ijza') of the prayer and its acceptance (qabul). Validity pertains to fulfilling the pillars and conditions, while acceptance is an unseen matter.

2. Repeating a fard (obligatory) prayer without a legitimate reason is not legislated.

3. The hadith about enmity (shahnā') between Muslims does not indicate the invalidation of deeds, but rather signifies the postponement of forgiveness until they reconcile. It appears that what occurred between you two did not reach the level of severe contention and dispute.
