Is it permissible for adults to play PlayStation football games, without extravagance, knowing that it includes images of Western players and clubs, and is played without music?

Islam does not forbid recreation through permissible means. The general rule for games is permissibility, as long as they do not lead to constant engagement, deter from a religious obligation, or include something forbidden, such as the display of 'awrah (private parts) in images. If there is forbidden imagery, the prohibition applies to both the creator and the user.
