What is the ruling on harassing Muslims in their livelihoods, persecuting them, and placing obstacles in the way of their lives under flimsy pretexts?
Harming believers without just cause is forbidden. Whoever does so has indeed taken upon himself a calumny and a manifest sin. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, supplicated against anyone who made matters difficult for his Ummah, asking Allah to make matters difficult for them. And against anyone who harmed or caused hardship to Muslims, asking Allah to harm them and cause them hardship. And Allah punishes those who punish people without just cause. The Muslim must exercise patience and resort to Allah to ward off evil, and exert efforts to repel harm.
