The question

Do the worshippers sin if they close the smaller mosque (the one that is not a Jāmi') and pray Ishā’, Tarāwīḥ, and Qiyām in the new prayer area established near the demolished Jāmi' mosque, knowing that the smaller mosque accommodates the worshippers for these prayers, unlike Friday prayer?

The answer

There is no sin in going to another mosque to pray, but it is better to pray in the mosque of your neighborhood if your absence would disrupt it. This is what a group of scholars have stipulated, among them Sheikh Al-Islam Zakariya Al-Ansari.
