Which is better: joining a university that allows time for worship and memorizing the Qur'an and has a mosque, or another university that requires intensive study, prohibits performing acts of worship, and makes it difficult to perform congregational prayers?

We advise choosing the second university unless it is very weak and does not properly qualify one for the profession, especially in specializations like medicine. One should bear in mind their intention and remember that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, always chose the easier option as long as it was not sinful. There is no sin in choosing the university that requires less study when there is a religious benefit. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, you will not abandon anything for the sake of Allah except that Allah will grant you something better than it." We advise seeking guidance from Allah, for "he who seeks guidance from Allah will not be disappointed, and he who consults will not regret."
