Is it permissible for the deceased's daughters to sell the bangles she bequeathed to them and asked them to wear, in order to buy new bangles with the money?

If the grandmother is the paternal grandmother and she left no heir except for four daughters, then the bangles are inherited by them equally, and they are free to dispose of them as they wish.

However, if the daughters are not heirs (such as granddaughters), then the grandmother's bequest to them is valid and enforceable within the limits of one-third of the estate, and they are free to dispose of what they received from this bequest.

The bequest does not take the ruling of a waqf (endowment) in this matter.

And if there are other heirs along with the inheriting daughters, then the bequest to the daughters is not valid unless the remaining heirs permit it, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah has given every rightful person his right, so there is no bequest to an heir unless the heirs permit it." And they are free to dispose of it through sale or other forms of disposition.
